Finance: Jeff - A finance inventory is on going through the rest of this term. Because of our regular business discussion regarding inventory has been tabled until next meeting. There were amendments to the budget and when brought before the assembly it was shot down. Sharon explained why there were changes in the budgets: The archives found a permanent location and the Area also began using professional interpreters. These had not been budgeted for in June 2005. A new budget for 2007 will be proposed in June 2006.

Public Information / Accessibility/ Website: Maureen - these three areas will continue to function as one committee. A Web person is needed for the Area. There were many great ideas shared at this committee. Taking newcomer packets to your local hospital emergency room; taking Big Books to local libraries and senior living communities; sending letters to junior and high schools explaining what AA is and is not and volunteering to give presentations. Lisa will keep us updated on the PSA in movie theater etc. project. Susan in district 16 is sending letters to the clergy in the SFV giving them literature and central office phone number.
