Minutes from June were NOT approved as submitted.

DCM Report - Jeff was not able to make the meeting.  Maureen read his report and distributed the July Grapevine as well as the Grapevine audio archive cards.

Old Business:

1        The District Secretary position has been filled.  Nina will begin her commitment in August.
2        Ad-Hoc report Senior Centers/Libraries/Schools:  Jeff and Rosemary brought close to $400 in contributions from their meetings.  Kathy and Barry brought 5 Big Books and 5 12 & 12s from the Riverside Speaker Meeting and Ernie brought 2 Big Books from the Sunrise Group.  Maureen's meeting will provide 2 Big Books and 2 12 & 12s.  Steve took the books and will coordinate with Nina for their distribution.

New Business:
1   Combined Valley Districts Delegate Day - Area 93 Delegate Vicki will give her AA Conference on July 29th.  There were flyers distributed for this event to take to our meetings.  Those who would like to participate and volunteer for a commitment should contact Jeff.

2        Ad Hoc Registration - Jeff, Ernie, Maureen and Robert are contacting the dark meetings in District 17 which contains 93 meetings.  All are in the process of calling the meetings.  Many of the contacts and numbers are incorrect.
3        Open Discussion… What's going on?  Melanie has been contacted by the area CPC committee in regards to the Parolee Orientation.  They were confirming that this was being fulfilled each month and.  Melanie also asked that we let our meetings know that this is an ongoing commitment and they need members to participate.   Ernie added that the Sunrise and Sunset groups at the Jewish Community Center are hosting a  4 - 9th Step Workshop on Sunday July 16th from 9am to 5 pm.  He will e mail us flyers.  Anthony distributed flyers for a Monthly Unit A 12 Tradition Workshop meeting that will be ongoing.  The first Workshop begins on July 15th at 2pm and will continue every third Saturday.  Unit A is located at 10641 Burbank Blvd.
