Minutes from September Meeting were approved as submitted.
DCM Report - Jeff would like to submit a bid to host an assembly at the October 16th Area Committee Meeting. He secured a location within budget, the Granada Hills Community Center. He will check the Beverly Garland Hotel as a location as well. Jeff also suggested we read the 459 that was recently sent from NY which includes a piece on Districts and how they function within Areas.

Treasurer Report - Melanie B. distributed the financial statement for September. She thanked all for the generous contributions and stated our goal to have a prudent reserve of $600. Report was approved as submitted.

Old business:
Jeff brought up the topic of hosting a workshop. We collaborated on many topics and decided on a workshop titled "GSR 101. We will flush out the specifics and a date/location at a future meeting. It was suggested we schedule this workshop sometime after February so we can announce the workshop during the annual SFV Convention in early February.
New Business:
Jeff informed us there is a GSO meeting during the upcoming SFV Convention. This will take place on Saturday morning. Jeff asked for volunteers to be readers. Larry, Maureen, Michael, Richard and Nina committed to participate. Jeff also asked us to go to our groups and ask what they would like discussed during the GSO meeting. Suggestions to spark interest at meetings:
What are Class A and Class B Trustees? - What are Area Officers? - What is the role of a Delegate? - What is the role of a DCM and a GSR? etc.

Birthday’s in October - Melanie will be 4 on October 23rd.
Mark L. visiting from another district handed our numerous flyers for upcoming events and workshops.
